Thread lift in Korea: lifting only where you need it
A thread lift places special medical threads under the skin to lift sagging tissue and improve firmness, while stimulating collagen. At Target, the thread type and design are chosen for your skin thickness, firmness, degree of sagging and amount of fat.

How it works
- BeforeWrinkles and sagging have appeared in the cheeks, nasolabial area or around the mouth.
- ProcedureAfter anaesthesia, threads are placed along a design drawn for your face. The design changes with your wrinkles and face shape.
- AfterThe lift is visible straight away, and the skin firms as collagen forms around the threads.

Volume down, firmness up: threads with facial liposuction
Fat removal reduces volume; threads restore firmness. When a face is both full and sagging, facial liposuction and a thread lift are often planned together in one session under sedation, so the skin follows the smaller contour.
Thread lift or facelift?
A thread lift does not remove skin, so it suits mild to moderate sagging and a quicker recovery. Surgical facelifts — full, mini or neck lifts — remove and re-drape skin through incisions and are generally used when sagging is more advanced. Target Plastic Surgery provides thread lifting; the surgeon will tell you at consultation if your degree of sagging needs more than threads can give.

Will people notice the threads?
The threads sit under the skin. Some tightness or small dimpling can appear early and usually settles as swelling goes down.
