Planning your visit from abroad

Most overseas patients come for facial liposuction, often on a short trip. Here is how a visit works, from first contact to flying home.

Planning your visit from abroad

Step by step

  1. Contact the clinicTell us what you would like to change and when you plan to visit. Ask about language support when you get in touch.
  2. Consultation (under 1 hour)Medical chart → pre-consultation with a consultation manager → examination and explanation by Dr. Seo → wrap-up on schedule, fee and aftercare.
  3. Surgery dayFacial liposuction is a day surgery of about 30 minutes per area, under sedation and local anaesthesia.
  4. AftercareDay of surgery: face band and swelling injection. Days 1–3: OMEGA light. One month: radio-frequency massage.
  5. Flying homeNo stitches are used in facial liposuction, so there is nothing to remove before you leave. The surgeon confirms when you can fly.

A short trip is possible

Facial liposuction at Target is performed without sutures specifically so that patients who arrive and leave on the same day can be treated. Whether this suits you depends on your examination and on what else is planned, so please discuss your travel dates when you contact the clinic.

Fees and payment

  • Fees are confirmed at consultation. Areas are planned in three zones rather than many small parts, and no additional charges are added on the day.
  • Payment by card or in cash (Korean won).
  • There is no pressure to book surgery at consultation.

Documents

A medical certificate can be issued if you need one for the airport (for example, if your face is still bandaged or swollen when you fly). Ask on the day of surgery.

Good to know

  • Korea uses the same time zone as Japan (UTC+9).
  • The clinic is right by Exit 2 of Sinsa Station (Line 3 / Shinbundang Line). See Access.
  • Bring a scarf or mask for the trip back — you may still wear a face band.
  • Read our guide to planning your stay after facial liposuction.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to send photos before visiting?

Photos help the clinic give you a first opinion, but the final plan is always made after an in-person examination.

Can I combine several procedures in one trip?

Yes — facial liposuction, thread lifts, buccal fat removal and injectables are often combined under one sedation. The surgeon decides what is safe to combine.

Tell us which part of your face line bothers you.

The surgeon will tell you honestly what fat removal, threads or grafting can — and cannot — change.
